Group Assignment

Welcome to your group assignment!

Here's what you need to do:

Step 1: Individually, go to dudigift.com Opens in a new window.

Step 2: Individually, evaluate the website based Jakob Nielsen's 10 Usability Heuristics for User Interface Design Opens in a new window based on the following use-case:

• Sign up for a new account (feel free to use a temporary email Opens in a new window), and
• send me an invitation to an event.

Create a spreadsheet. For each heuristic, provide one or more examples of where this heuristic was done well, or needs improvement. Don't forget to poke around to see if things are working correctly - you can deliberately submit an invalid entry in a field or two in an effort to see an error message, for example. Get creative!

Step 3: Get into groups, and compare notes. Create a shared spreadsheet of your evaluation based on consensus. What do you all agree was done well, or needs improvement, for each heuristic, with examples.

Step 4: Each of you, submit a copy of both your individual and group spreadsheets via blackboard by July 11^th at 9 a.m.
